Program Curriculum

The curriculum for the bachelor's degree in exercise science is built on the belief that it is critical for KU students to not only gain a broad-based exercise science education, but to supplement that education with hands-on practical experience in the field. This powerful combination allows our students to excel in any environment.

General Education Courses

  • 18 credit hours of approved electives*
  • Diversity Requirement (KU Core Goal 4.1)
  • Humanities Requirement (KU Core Goal 3H)
  • Global Awareness Requirement (KU Core Goal 4.2)

Approved Electives

Students must enroll in 18 credit hours of approved elective courses. Students may select from a variety of minors, certificates, and pre-professional options to fulfill their 18 hours of elective coursework. Please contact an academic advisor for further details.
